Enthusiastic GeoDa Users in Germany Elect Luc Anselin as Employee of the Month

Researchers at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research on Conflict and Violence in Bielefeld, Germany discovered GeoDa when looking for spatial analysis tools for their research. They were so enthusiastic about the software that they designated Luc Anselin as their "employee of the month"! (see picture below)

Here's what they said in an email to Luc Anselin:

"Thank you very much for making and sharing this helpful software and for explaining it in a way that is both accessible and fun to read. I would not have expected, after some time as a researcher, to learn something new in the field of statistics that I find so inspiring and thought-provoking. It is not an exaggeration to say that it has already changed the way I look at and work with my data."
